David Duncan

David began bagpiping at age 12. He has since played in many traditional pipe bands including: North Coast Pipe Band, 7 Pipers Society, 78th Frasers, Toronto Police, Midlothian Scottish and the College of Wooster Pipe Band.

He has also played in many non-traditional bagpipe bands such as Skattish, Tartanic, and more recently in Wolgemut (on the Dudelsac).

David also has his own plans for future solo projects involving the Highland Bagpipes. Be on the lookout for his upcoming release: "The Bagpipe Mixtape, Vol.1" coming to an Internet website near you.

In addition to the bagpipes, David plays bass guitar, electric guitar and likes to think he can drum. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to and drawing inspiration from many types of non-Celtic music, especially Reggae, Hip-hop, Soul, Hardcore, Jazz, DJ Music/Turntablism, and some ska. In the past, David has been a college student, a pizza delivery driver, and a singer of punk.
