A self-taught filmmaker and self proclaimed wanderluster, Irene Jaan, sold her 12 year-old eclectic Texas "earthstore" in 2010 and hopped on a plane to see the world.  With 2 kiddos in tow and hubby John they jetted off to live in Ecuador for the duration of the year.  She thought she had their life planned out.  Little did she know...

A University of Texas graduate, Irene films, writes, photographs and spearheads her blog project called The Travel Creatives (www.thetravelcreatives.com).  Her passion is filming mini-documentaries about creative, inspiring people who are living their dreams.  She also has a healthy addiction to writing about the magical manifesting that occurs when loving life.  Tartanic will now be forced to deal with her video camera looming in their face capturing every antic for the world to see…
