"Many of the tunes on this album were played by my brother and I during our childhood for winter holiday gatherings with our family. In order to keep with the spirit of those times, the tunes were recorded largely how we played them, consisting of mainly solo pipes and light percussion. I share these with you, the listener, in the spirit of continuing our tradition!"
